the littlest

Phir Zinda! Excellent theatrical experience. The movie-making here is one of the finest in Malayalam industry. Prithviraj has done a great job in portraying, sequencing the shots very well and raising the bar to an international level. Each frame was simply superb if you have carefully watched the movie. You will feel thrilled to see this Malayalam movie touch the Hollywood-delivered sort of experiences with plot twists & surprises. Mohanlal, Manju Warrior, Tovino have well-played their roles - not to mention other crew as well. You will literally have goosebumps when you just see Mohanlal across the screen. Despite the fact that the overall script seemed to lack adequate depth, you will never get a second to feel bored. Also, the movie is against certain political ideologies - hence, negative reviews, controversies are expected. However, I felt it actually favored brotherhood & secularism rather than politics or religion. I also felt that the movie had pure English-Hindi shots, which layman / elder people / those not technically sound may not follow always. There may have been explanations + subtitles but hidden meanings may not be understood - I felt - personal opinion. Mallu audience is used to simpler regional movies which is why some people prefer L1. Well this is a pan-Indian movie, to suit international audiences too. Let’s also talk about how you embedded women roles in the movie - you can see Manju chechi + MI6 agent Michelle Menuhin develop solid roles throughout. That’s how you proportionally prioritize women as well in the movie. Overall,,,, bravo Prithviraj - guts bruh - what a passion bruh! One to break your own comfort zone from actor to director, second to portray what many fear to even speak about. Also, we are going to cherish you for giving back our Lalettan as well as our Manju chechi. With all the brilliant movies they have delivered already, this is a major comeback to their kingdom. You and Lalettan had great eye contacts in the movie. The perfect sync & collab between two generations. We all know who’s gonna be crowned for giving away wonderful movies. Thankyou for all the hard work 🤍 Waiting for L3🫣 #empuraan #lalettan #manju #prithvi #lucifer
