What a pity the BBC ploughed licence payers money into this. I usually enjoy historical dramas but this was akin to a soap opera.
There were very few historical accuracies, surely the BBC has research and continuity teams that adviced on these points.
Not a documentary, I understand but still people will watch this and mistakenly think this is how the events happened.
Wasted opportunity to tell a pivitol point in history.
