FNP was a cute slice of life kind of movie. Babil Khan’s character was a wholesome gentleman, and honestly a lovable green flag of a guy. His acting, dialogue delivery, expressions and jabs at his younger brother came out so naturally. It felt effortless.
Halfway through the film, I caught myself wishing that this was a web series for youngsters… with Siddharth being this introverted teenage struggling with his dads death and finding himself.. his younger brother being up to shenanigans, run ins with the popular guy group, confusion between two sisters and the ultimate decision of college admission hanging over Sid’s head. It could’ve been wayyy better than Never Have I Ever because of how likeable, sensible and calm headed Babil was.
I recommend this movie as a fun Sunday afternoon watch. It is well-paced with good songs and charming characters. I’m looking forward to Babil Khan’s movies and shows from now on :D
