I was captivated by the story. I do not understand why people are comparing it to The Lord of the Rings book or Peter Jackson’s movies. These stories take place thousands of years before LOTR. The pace seems correct because there are so many different characters and relationships to be introduced. Galadriel is an immortal being. Obviously, she is going to age slowly and will not have a lot of wrinkles and laugh lines that might show expression as mortal beings do.
I suppose that I could go on and on addressing comments that have been posted. I hope people watch it as a new series that uses Tolkien’s work as a foundation.
