I am doing research on a book about the lithium mining industry. A.E. Foote's son later started what became a mining company with many locations and lines of effort. This particular catalogue was integral to the original business of selling mineral specimens. All I can say is "wow". He put tremendous effort into this publication...both educational and comprehensive. What a true work of craftsmanship by someone who loved their profession. It's always good to learn about and remember those who came before us and contributed so much. A very valuable document for a researcher like me. In many ways, the modern U.S. lithium industry exists today because of his work. All my best to his family and descendants. He died relatively young at just 50 years old. RIP, Dr. Foote.
