Okay. There are some good points. The kenetic energy. The upbeat feel for the story. The acting, which is actually solid. And, the actors themselves who commit fully. But... on the downside a film of just under two hours feels clipped. Somewhere there may be a directors cut that would do this blink and you miss it movie justice.

A Godzilla movie that is not about the monster? I was really overwhelmed by this film, from out of the blue a story of suffering, anguish and family set against the end of the war and the challenge of a monster. Godzilla Minus One succeeds in characters that have depth and believability, a solid story great effects but most importantly... heart. Must see.

This is perhaps the best Friday night popcorn movie ever. Exciting, emotional with awesome action sequences, with Tom Cruise on top form... It is a quality mash up of Star Wars, Mission Impossible and Top Gun. An impossible mission to hit a tiny target with missiles via a canyon/trench run? Weapons systems along the canyon/trench? A mentor/student relationship? A fast paced run by Tom? A heist (of an F14) at short notice? And so on... And yet, producer Christopher McQuarrie (Mission Impossible films) is, perhaps partly responsible for pulling this all together into a fast paced, heartfelt success.

After Secret Invasion, and the HUGE disappointment that it was, I decided to give this one off a try... with some hesitation. Simply put, as far as I am concerned, everything that the Secret Invasion did so very badly, Werewolf by Night excelled. This is a must see and what Marvel need more of... including the "cigarette burns" on the film for oldies like me! Brilliant.

Shia LaBeouf. We owe you an apology.

Once you start you can't stop. It really is that good. This is a solid thriller series that gave me thoughts of the classic 24 series but this is its own thing entirely. Smart script that moves the plot along at pace but without the frenzied energy some other shows have that can be overwhelming and difficult to keep up with. Nice balance between actual dialogue and acting with the action set pieces which are very well done. Strong cast and production, this is one to watch. Netflix may have it's very own... Jack Bauer

Brilliant. A Star Trek series positioned right before TOS with a nostalgic yet modern feel to it meshed nicely together. This is a return to a more episodic series (again like TOS) and is refreshing as it stands out against other fast paced, multiple story arc and season spanning tropes which are rife right now, and, actually also in other Star Trek series... Solid cast includes Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) who plays the lead tremendously and looks as if he is enjoying every second. Sit back and enjoy a very good show.

Miss the West Wing? Well, this is a series for you. Fast paced, slick political drama with the exact amount of humour and dialogue that is far beyond the majority of other series. This really is the real deal. Thoughtful, intriguing and excellently written with a production value that matches. Add in Keri Russell who is one of the best actresses around and a very good support cast, with Rufus Sewell simply outstanding in his role too and this is a must see. So much so that I did all 8 episodes in two sittings and will watch it again for sure.

Just read an article that states this third season is not being well received by fans and critics alike... I could not disagree more. The Mandalorian has upped the ante consistently each season with clever and consistent writing as well as filling out the Star Wars universe, it has challenged viewers as it has adapted. Exactly how long could you focus on one character? Adding support characters and broadening the scope and potential has worked as far as I am concerned. Plus, having Katee Sackhoff on board! Win! Netflix loss is Disneys gain...

I have a lot of time for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but even he cannot make this cliche ridden, predictable and dull film worth watching. Avoid.
