I'm a high school student. A senior actually. I have experienced multiple lock down drills and have had many times where there were school shootings and threats sent to my school, a friend's school, or a school near me. This film just hits way too close to home. it's honestly the first ever film to make me cry because i know that this family could be mine. It's such a terrifying thought. Knowing that what these two parents are going through could very much be something my own parents could go through. This short film has brought out emotions and thoughts that i wished i never had to experience. It shows how tragic, how sorrowful the aftermath of such a devastating event is without even presenting any dialogue. It literally brought me to tears! I really hope there will be a time where students, parents, and families don't have to worry about a student's life when they go to school. I really do.
