This movie will make you dumber. The plot makes comically zero sense. Both on macro and micro level. It's so bad I don't understand how can anyone like it. Must be bots. Or I'll lose the remainder of my faith in humanity. It's a typical feel-good story about a bunch of farmers beating up technology superior, organized army. Sure thing. The world, level of technology and style are all over the place. The music is better than the first part, but still too obvious and generic. The visuals would be the only saving grace, but overuse of slow-mo killed it. It was a chore to watch and after I finished I felt like my IQ dropped.

The series has interesting main plot, and general visuals/art style is great. It's epic and lore is interesting. So why only two stars? Because on a down to earth level it's too dumb. Characters being saved 2 seconds before death in the most ridiculous manner. Organisations that were shown to absolutely monitor and spy on everone suddenly can't find machinations of a character who straight up admitted to doing it. Some smart and competent characters suddenly become dumb and useless because the story (success of other character who happens to have plot armor) requres it. These kind of things. It's a shame because the first season was pretty good (ending was a weaker). But from about half of season two it just goes down fast.
