Pittwater Unleashed

This book saddened me. It didn't uplift my faith but it seemed that Becki thought that if she prayed, God would obey her commands to award her the Miss America crown which she coveted so much. I know we have moved on from sexualising women, but I am not sure how I could square away swim suit contests, et al and what comes across as the supreme self-centredness. I simply could not square away with our church's Christian values and standards with what is going on here.
