I started to watch the show because friends of mine were raving about how funny it is. Just minutes into the first episode, and I was hit with a tactless, wildly inaccurate "joke" about ALS. My family has lost more than 20 members to that horrific disease, including both of my father's brothers, my cousin, and most recently, my own brother (December 2020). The odds of future generations of my family being diagnosed with ALS are 50/50. ALS has no cure. It is fatal 100% of the time. It attacks the muscles, leaving them atrophied and useless, eventually robbing a person of the ability to swallow and/or breathe. Despite suffering from ALS for over 8 years, my brother still had a sense of humor and a sharp mind...but his body failed him. We are absolutely heartbroken. ALS is no laughing matter. I was deeply offended that the writers and producers of this show felt the need to include this "joke" in their storyline...not to mention the over-use of profanity. Shame on everyone responsible for this inexcusable travesty. If only I could give 0 stars...
