I cannot express enough how this miniseries affected me. Very powerful and enlightening mental illness has been ignored and till this day is still a stigma. I have bipolar disorder posttraumatic stress anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Back in 1987 I was hit by a drunk driver my head went through the windshield I was surprised I was alive but unconscious at the time I was told by my doctors that this is why my mental illness was brought to the IV. I cannot express enough how important family and friends are we need your support learn about it read about it understand it it is real!!!! The job Mark Ruffalo was outstanding to say the least each episode brought me to tears. We all need a Dominic in our lives. I gave this a five star rating if I could I would have given it a 10 star rating outstanding acting on his part and he played it so well I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you HBOI believe down the line this miniseries will receive an award. Thank you mark
