I love CBS This morning,The issues that are showcased are timely and necessary. My heart is warmed when Anthony Mason honors those that have lost their lives to covit 19.the directness of Tony Dokoupil and the humor,witty,insightful and genuine Gayle King. Today I was impressed and happy with Brene Brown and the journey that she shares through her talks and her books..Also I missed some of the conversation that was being held with a principal or superintendent regarding the use of social workers rather than police, it was excellent.and so needed.It is the right way to go to change the climate in schools and support families. When I was principal in NYC.in a school that was in a community with many issues, I used my budget to hire guidance counselors,social workers and partnered with colleges to use their social work interns to support the work we were doing to strengthen our staff and students.This is an example of how funds for police in the schools can be used more to the benefit of the schools
