It's Magnificent, simple as that.

I cannot stress how much I was excited to see West side story when I knew Steven Spielberg was going to direct. I knew he would honour the original and I was absolutely blown away by his film. Like everyone I absolutely loved the original but what Steven Spielberg has done with the new film is brilliant, no question. I found it so emotional as my parents took me to see the original when I was young and we had the LP at home so it was very personal to me. Steven Spielberg is a genius and was so respectful of the original, the casting was superb and I just cannot put into words how happy I was seeing the film but emotional as well. There were lots of you youngsters in the audience which was really nice. Please go to see this film at the cinema and not to wait until on TV as we must support the cinema as to keep watching at home is not a good idea going forward.

Breathtaking, unbelievable, incredible, fantastic, brilliant, what courage.
