Thriller movies are hard to pull off without using too many tropes, but this movie did a really good job of staying true to the genre without being corny. The story was unpredictable in a good way and while it was intense, it wasn’t very scary. It also carries a strong message against incel behavior. While I think that’s a very important message, the writing was a bit too on the nose and by the end they were spoon feeding spoons with the messaging. I believe this destroyed any chance of actually changing the behavior of anyone who acts like the antagonist, but it was a good movie nonetheless.
