I put off watching B99 until last week. I thought didn't care for Andy Samberg, but ending up being Jesse Eisenberg's acting which put me off. I hate cop shows. There was zero to draw me in. No one has been airing new shows, as they delayed for Covid. I got desperate during my recent illness, for something to watch. I settled on B99 for the sheer number of episodes. People like me, you have got to watch. The writing is smart and funny. The characters respect each other. I was expecting gross out humor. Pleasantly, it's limited to the lay-about-detectives removing shirts, sometimes. They act like a family. I LOVE the Gina character. She isn't a cop, but definitely the mom figure in B99. She won't bake you cookies, but she will show her love by intimating your foes. They are all wildly different, but accept each other anyway. It's everything I want outta the world. So...yeah...check em out. They are great. 4 stars is for long winded filler conversations, especially with Charles' family.
