There are not too many shows that make me ugly cry but this one definitely did. The many moments of Claires life were all too relatable. From the beginning the audience should be aware that this is not a heartfelt show, it is not intended to make you laugh until you cry or feel jovial once you've finished. It intensionally grips you at your core and takes your breath away. The life of Claire is nothing extraordinary she is a woman feeling and experiencing the same emotions that we all share. The only difference is Claire gets stuck in a state of grief. She has never processed her mothers death, she questions her decisions and lives life teetering on the what ifs and desperately trying to be present. Throughout the show you can see the agony and internal battle Claire has within herself. I was rooting for her the whole series I did not judge but rather cried ugly until my face was red and puffy. This show is a must watch.
