Simply superb! Hasler brought Gleitze’s journey to the screen with authenticity and depth like never before. His depiction of the struggles faced by women in the 1920s is both poignant and powerful. Capturing the sheer resilience and determination of Mercedes was not just compelling but inspiring for all. This film stands as a testament that the impossible is indeed achievable with unwavering courage and tenacity. I highly recommend this film. Also, unlike other biopic productions, Hasler’s is filmed in both colour and black and white which enriches the visual experience.
