Good movie.
Minor correction, though. Bienville Parish is near Shreveport, so redneck country, not Cajun country - they got WAY the wrong accent on the sheriff there. Dad was born and reared in Webster Parish in 1937, just 2 or 3 years after this happened, only a few miles from where Bonnie and Clyde were gunned down.
This former Texas lawman says Hamer did what needed doing. Bonnie and Clyde weren't going to be taken alive.
