this movie was so terrible that i felt compelled to write my first ever film review. i watched it inspired by the reviews that were raving about it. it was so incredibly cringey. all the songs sounded the same not to mention half of them were "sung" in raspy whispers. there was no deep analysis of anything, i am left so confused. it wasn't believable in anyway at all and at about 2 hours long left a lot to be desired. the plot was vapid. selena gomez's acting I hate to say was also incredibly lackluster and she was a rather strange character that i guess we're supposed to believe is a US born Latina buchona? her Spanish was a disgrace. skip this one and watch something else, 2 hours I wish I could get back.
