I risked $5.99 on Amazon Prime yesterday to watch this movie. Those of you who may have worked for Westinghouse probably all know the basic story line: Westinghouse and Tesla (alternating current) and Edison, with support from JP Morgan (direct current) and we all know who won that one. This is a somewhat fictionalized account of that, with the big showdown coming as they compete to be the star of the Colombian Exposition in Chicago. Throw in some anecdotal story line about the first use of the Electric Chair in Buffalo, NY around the same time for added "drama." It was worth the $5.99. No real mystery or drama, but some interesting character development and it puts a bit of flesh and blood on an otherwise esoteric story line.
