Very disappointed. Was hoping for a great police drama. It's too predictable. The writers have tried too hard to make us believe that Boston blue is just an extension of Blue Bloods. The only similarities are "BB," as in Blue Bloods and Boston Blue. The family similarities are ridiculous and unbelievable. The family dinners in Blue Blood were a welcome sight at the end of each show. Boston Blue has Shabbat dinners that I find ridiculous. The writers need to stop trying so hard to make us believe that we're still watching the old show; there's an identity crisis that needs to be resolved. I'll give this show one more try and that's it. Blue Bloods has ended; Boston Blue needs to be able to stand alone. I don't want to watch it thinking it's still Blue Bloods. I really would like the show to succeed.
