This book was a beautiful, slow-moving read. At least that’s my opinion;)
Rosalie takes you on a journey throughout her childhood and adolescence and the various rural Manitoba homes she lived in with her mother and how life unfolded. All centering around her hardworking (but undervalued by society) mother and family.
The book brought me into a slow-moving mode in our current western world addicted to adrenaline and speed.
I loved this read and felt like I was a fly on the wall in the 60s & 70s. Beautifully written.
