As a Halo fan from day one, books, comics ,conventions, a big big fan basically. Just wow, 343 really ran this series into the ground. The story was beyond bad, I don’t know how this even came into production, I mean halo 5 story killed the series ( I actually really liked the gameplay of 5, but the story, man….) and infinite was the final nail in the coffin for me. Like wow…( just finished playing and I’m in shock as I write this). Even with the TV series, it’s almost as if someone at 343 has a life mission to run this series into the ground. All this really just breaks my heart. So many good memories with this series, now just tarnished, like the final season of game of thrones, just painful.

I just finished a play through of gears 4 and found it to be below average, shortly after I played gears 5 and WOW. Such a huge improvement in every aspect. The story, character development and overall gameplay was a fun, hilarious and emotional ride. Definitely the best in the series in my opinion.
