Given the sudden turn Star Wars has decided to make in the last decade - this piece of Star Wars stands out like a star in the night sky; Quite literally our last hope at good storytelling. These characters - although some flawed, are engaging and human with the audience. This show appeals to your ethos and pathos as it deals with strong topics of PTSD, brotherhood, torture, war and separation. Omega (our lead character) is put into the boots of a survivor and doesn't represent herself as a 'Mary Sue'.And as a Kiwi myself there is nothing more adorable than hearing Omega say all the names of the Bad Batch with that Kiwi inflection different to an Aussie.
This show left me in tears. Star Wars is not dead as long as shows like these continue to exist.
4/5 overall.
5/5 concerning contemporary Star Wars.
