As a black man with mixed ancestry, this show really resonated. It touches on so many aspects, my own life and how I’ve had to navigate it as an African in a European context, my colonial past, the insecurities I’m made to feel when I walk into a room, the challenges my extended white (as they might otherwise think) family might feel if they suddenly realised they weren’t white, and most importantly what identity really means.
