This game isn’t so bad once you get the hang of things. I got the PS4 port so it was in desperate need of updating but I didn’t let that get me down this time. The game itself tells a simple story that lends itself well to its environment. Gameplay is easy but can be tricky once two enemies attack at once. By the time you learn to use your environment properly it’s real straight forward. The weapons are okay, they get the job done when you finish with them in your melee engagements. However some of them feel similar to each other; skunk gun and riot gun, assault rifle and tactical pistol, they alright for what they do but they lack variety and frankly there are preferable options. (Assault Rifle > Tactical Pistol) After playing this game for many play through, I can say this game is great. I enjoyed it’s linearity and it’s pacing. It’s kept me engage for this long than most recent titles. I can’t wait to see what they can do next with this IP. Personal Opinion: This game was far more enjoyable than GOW Ragnorak.
