The series was created with the sole purpose of pleasing the audience in every sentence without having a good story. Every character talks politically correct. Too much current talking points on a piece centered in the 1800s instead of exploiting the nuances of that time period. There is no connection to the games except for the character names. Too many stupid choices made by characters that made it unbearable to watch. There was no world building, no real conflict, no interesting dialogue, and was slow paced. It's just aesthetically beautiful and stylish. I love the Castlevania franchise but it pains me to see this as just a cash grab.
