What was intriguing about this series is that it doesn't try to create a flawless, obedient and predictable character out of a police constable of a protagonist! There are flashes of her insecurities, repressed sexuality and sexual trauma playing out in the least expected nook and crannies of the series. I don't see her as an embodiment of empowerment or female sexual freedom in any way, it would be stupid to view it as so. Trying to seduce a unsuspecting dhabawala isn't seduction but an act of validation she was seeking which she was shown to gravely lack in her marriage with a person that brazenly lusted after her sister instead. The crumbs that are carefully strewn all over the plot give away the need of a woman spurned and in need of validation AND power if you pay attention. And leave no confusion when at the end she gives herself over to the man that affirms her sense of being someone worth desiring. Or does she really? That remains to be seen. She's a flawed constable, a human with issues and lets leave her at that. If you are seeking sexual empowerment in her character in the movie, you are grossly misdirected and need to look elsewhere. Neat thriller with Aditi Pohankar's 10/10 acting.
