I enjoy watching “The Five”. However, Jaun does not live in a real world. It was unimaginable what he said today about the young lady that was killed while attacking another young lady with a knife. It was absolutely a heartbreaking event. For anyone to lose their life it is a sad situation. But for want to make statement he did today was total ignorance. The police officer had only a few seconds to respond, and he chose the one that was correct. The police are required to serve and protect the communities, to include them selves and third parties, either Physically and with the authorization to use actions, that include the use of deadly force.
Once again, what happened today is absolutely heartbreaking. I would like to suggest, that Juan Williams attend a one week minimized police academy, and then spend two months on the street with a seasoned police officer. This will provide him with the opportunity to see up close and personal what actually happens. There clearly was not time to shoot in the air and charge the woman with the knife endangering the initial young lady that was a possible victim, or endangering yourself. It’s OK if you sit at home on Sundays and play armchair quarterback, but there is no time to sit on the couch playing armchair policeman. Because time is of the essence, that is critical time that peoples lives depend upon. I applaud that he tries to come up with a different solution, but when there are people attacking others with a knife, time for a second solution does not exist. I am imagine that Juan agrees with the funding or even abolishing law enforcement. I have been watching “The Five” for several years, and have yet to hear Juan stand up for law enforcement, or even a solution to a problem. I’m becoming close do not watching it any longer, because Juan is a little bit too far to the left for my comfort. His stance and several Amendment to the constitution our mind boggling to me. Maybe he can afford armed guard for he and his family, or live in a gated community, neither of which I can afford. But I am a big advocate of all of the amendments to the constitution and Bill of Rights. I want to be able to protect my family. I believe I have earned that right. I spent 22 years in the United States Navy Defending and Protecting the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. So if there are infringements upon My Second Amendment Right, it will put me in a precarious situation, with some difficult decisions to make.
People need to start thinking sensibly before acting ignorantly.
