This could have been phenomenal, but the poor writing and forced drama make the series hard to enjoy. So many cliches and predictable death flags. Spoilers:
Kind hearted character that plans to do one last mission before he can go home to his sisters? Dead. Character is going to confess his feelings after this next fight? Dead. Love interest finally gives character a reason to live other than fighting? Dead! The only surprising dead in the whole series was the person who was set up to be the main antagonist. Which was unceremonious, but kind or refreshing.
