Clive Donovan

excellent, quirky, lots of intelligent jokes and tales, morality and immorality to ponder, great actors, including English, and the scriptwriters keep them on their toes with weird characteristics...

loved it especially for the actors rapport with each other and the fun they were having

I can't understand the rotten reviews..I really liked it. Maybe people just can't handle the surreal any more...?

I adored sunset beach. Always watched the saturday morning omnibus edition and made my unfortunate girlfriend watch it with me. I was always proud of the fact that the english mags that listed and analyzed soap shows completely ignored this fabulous programme.. They just didn't get it! That it undermined and deconstructed the whole genre.; that it restored to our tv screens Greek-style theatre of epic proportions. Why waste money on background effects?: A few corn stalks signifies Kansas, a model boat in a wobbly sink equals a shipwreck and a simple false nose completely fools everyone to believe your new identity! And of course there's an actual EVIL TWIN! Love it!

oddball, hard to categorize and fabulous...
