As someone who doesn't really read much, I started off by reading Days at the Morasaki Bookshop and then More Days at the Morasaki Bookshop. I finished the 2 books in 2 days, reading the second book for 5 hours straight until the end. Everytime I chose to take a break, my mind wouldn't rest until I knew what happened next, so perfectly written and shows the true reality of life and imperfections, they expressed how there can still be a happily ever after even if a wave leaves a big trace on the shore. I was resistant to keep reading as I didn't want to face the plot of the story, but as I realised I was being like Saturo, I realised it will just have to happen and I loved how the author made me feel that way and how similar it was to the characters in the story. If I could recommend this book, I definitely would, a thousand times, it left such a meaningful message, delivered by someone from the other ends of the world. Thank you!!
