Don't give up on this film. Once you get past the cheesy years of Aretha's childhood, you are in for the treat of your life. Jennifer Hudson outdoes her Oscar-winning performance in DREAMGIRLS, and is phenomenal. I had goosebumps, sang, danced, cried, and cheered through it all. A must-see now on Amazon Prime
