This movie was SO BAD. It is based upon the book by Adele Parks. This movie doesn’t portray any of the character development from the book. So you’re left with cringey, unlikable characters & awful dialogue. It barely shows Anna & Nicks love story. How guilty Nick felt. The toxic yet irresistible relationship he had with Zoe. How much Nicks mom loved Anna. The wedding planning. How Nick acted around Anna while he was having the affair. The writing was so awful. Truly a terrible showcasing of Adele Parks story. All of it isn’t how it happened in the book. Sasha Pieterse really saved this movie. The actor who played Nick was so bad. He barely showed any of the remorse & agony Nick carried. To be honest, the ending in the book wasn’t my favorite. But It was completely different in the movie. The book at least left closure to the story and Anna got redemption & healing. Overall, really disappointed because I really liked the book.
