Darcy Butterfield

This kind of series/movie is not my usual cup of tea. This series is a glorious smorgasbord of story, characters, acting, design and directing. It's ugly; the people are terrible and there are CGI violence/disasters a plenty. And it it psychologically fascinating and fun. Sophia is all furious id and Oz is a liar and narcissist. Awards for both actors! If this is what comic book films look like now, I'm in.

Sensational film of Bway show. Intimacy and grandeur made me feel that I was more than there. Never seen before so my eyes and ears were busy taking in the brilliant talent, fine direction, sets, costumes and choregraphy. The songs come at you rapid-fire so you better be ready to pay attention. The stage sets move fluidly on a roundabout and adds depth - particularly during the eye of the hurricane song. Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Wow. Jessica Chastain! Did not see the documentary so this was all new to me. I remember the events vaguely so the history aspect is good to know. Worth watching.

Phenomenal! Visually stunning.

It is very hard to get past Louisa Jacobson as the ingenue. Surrounded as she is by Broadway caliber talent her lack of same is quite glaring. Certainly the costumes and decor are splendid but these haves with little moral character singularly lacking in intelligence make difficult watching. About as good as any soap opera.
