Cute and made me giggle out loud a few times, but I fear that wasn’t enough to carry this movie! I felt bored enough to consume both my snacks within the first 20 mins & ended up falling asleep about four times.
The jokes and characters are realistic but depict a rather posh upper middle class London lifestyle; something I can’t relate to. Jokes and references to the young Nanny’s youthfulness and perfection instilled rage in me, as it reminded me of how older women tend to be petty towards younger women. This movie is perhaps more suited towards a maturer female audience say 40+?
Rather uptight jokes and cringey scenes.
I’m not sure who rated this movie an 8.8/10, I’d give it a strong 5.5
It’s cute and a good movie to zone out, scroll and fall asleep to.
