I was excited when first heard about reboot thought great contuation of the charmed story with original ppl or their kids doing fighting was even ok with new sisters and one being lesbian idea and older sister being the missimg sister idea but after watching a few episodes I'm saying NOPE. So many things wrong with this reboot I don't know where to begin. 1. Original Piper had her angry moments but never hated men like new Piper. She knew had to have yin and yang. And yes new piper lesbian but that doesn't mean she has to be so man hating. 2. Older sister was given up but mom kept other 2. 3. The mom an elder. 4. Elders all female business women witches- have we forgotten Wyatt and Chris and Henry Jr. All for powerful women thing but there is a point where you can take it too far especially with shows. 5. Whitelighters seem more like the British men of letters from supernatural or Wesley from early buffy and Angel. 6. The older and middle sisters seem to have traded personalities. Older timid, middle tough and in charge. 7. They've made little sister more worried about social activities and ditsy when Phoebe was never that way-ok maybe if a spell went wrong pr something magical happened. Phone was actually very smart and focused. 8. The powers are wonky. The special effects are nuts. 9. Demons are more supernatural then charmed original. 10. They use black magic not good (white) magic. 11. Everything seems rushed: fighting, sisterhood, everything. Nothing and no one fleshed out. And my biggest problem is 12. THEY SEEM MORE FOCUSED ON WITCHES HAPPEN TO BE SISTERS THAN SISTERS WHO HAPPEN TO BE WITCHES! The relationships between the sisters, their loves, their friends, etc. How they found balance between their duties, their relationships, their careers, school, etc is what drove the original show and made it beloved by so many. I think they should either fix the problems cancel or give this a different name because this ain't charmed.
