Rose Petal (Rose Petal)

In my opinion, the actors play the characters very well. The acting is great and you can tell every emotion in the characters. The problem I have is with the writing and general plot points especially from the middle to the ending (I only bothered watching S1 keep in mind). // The initial idea is that theres a girl who is ‘not like the other girls’ and doesn’t fall for the hot, famous new boy. However, that doesn’t get developed enough and they completely rush into the romance all in the very first episode and it all felt really forced. // SPOILERS FOR NEXT PART // Then the love interests have this wonderful relationship and I liked that whole arc, but then all of a sudden the script flips to 4 years later and they seem to have some sort of distain for each other which takes way too long to be explained (not to mention the nonsensical justification Jojo makes for it). I was utterly confused on the timeline and the plot holes from episode 5 to episode 7. Non-chronological parts are good to break up a storyline, for anticipation’s sake, but 2-3 episodes worth of confusion? Not for me. // TL,DR; // Overall very confusing and stark plot, flicks too quickly and got a little fed-up watching after a while. Don’t waste your time with it.
