I very very very rarely dislike Christmas movies. But this was truly one of the worst 5 movies I have ever seen in any genre. Like what even was that I just watched. Thanks, whoever wrote and directed that monstrosity, for killing the Christmas spirit for any sane person who watches this. Its crazy because the cast would indicate it may be at least decent. But the story is so irrevocably bad. The whole family is hateable and act insufferable towards eachother. The brothers falling in love with the sisters after knowing eachother for 3 days was so cringe and not romantic in the slightest. Plus why didn't either one of the sisters think about leaving immediately. The end should have been heartwarming but it just wasn't because you are never rooting for anyone. Just a horribly written movie in every way. If you're like me and looking for a good Christmas movie, I beg you, look elsewhere.

How in the world does someone watch that and think its good... genuinely one of the 10 worst horror movies I've ever sat through. The whole movie is an ode to the terminally online, so if you are fluent in YouTube you might like it? I have no idea. There was no discernable plot at all. It was cheap, akward and not scary in the slightest at any point. And I literally had no idea how I was supposed to feel at the end. Why do the worst directors always choose horror? I wish I could give movies 0 stars on here.

Very underrated horror/possession movie. Kiernan Shipka deserves the creepy as hell equivalent of an Oscar, she was so good in this role. If you can't pay attention to slow burn movies this isn't for you. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it is hard to follow at times (but eventually makes sense). And... *SPOILER ALERT* The decision to cast two different actresses for the same character only 9 years apart was.. a choice. But I see why they had to do it.

I've seen over 300 horror movies and this one is EASILY top 20. It boggles my mind that there are so many 1 star reviews and makes me lose a little faith in humanity. It's one of those movies that gets better when you read about it afterwards and find out all the details you missed. In an era where almost every high profile horror movie is total garbage, this is an actually well made one. Well made, well acted, creepy as hell, innovative and makes you think. What else does a horror movie need?

Man when this movie isn't boring, its actually hilarious. The continuous shot of them sitting in the tent for 20 minutes is in the running for the worst movie scene of all time.

Things like this make me genuinely upset that there are people who get paid to write and direct movies of this quality. Braid is visually kind of cool at some points. Thats the only thing positive. There were mind boggling bad plot points. The dialogue was awful. The whole movie reeked of trying to "be something" without focusing on a good story. Every character is hateable. When it wasn't cringey, it was boring. Seriously, spend your time on another movie.

Conflicted about this movie. I just can't recommend anyone watch this. The first 95% was really well made. (SPOILERS) the last 5 minutes of the movie were extremely unsatisfying and make you feel kind of sick. It fell victim to horror directors feeling the need to be edgy and different. Just give the people what they want and move on. Just because of the ending I can't recommend anyone watch this film unless you are A. A borderline sociopath or B. Like to inflict mental torture on yourself. Ugh.

This is easily one of the 5 worst films I have ever seen. My first review was deleted for some reason, but I'm still so upset at the fact that it was so overhyped and I spent money on it that I will persist. Still don't understand how it has so many 5 star reviews. The acting is horrible. The story is an incoherent. Its extremely boring. Absolutely nothing is explained about any of the characters. Its not even slightly scary or creepy in any way. The end is astonishingly anti climactic. There is some cinematography that looks like it was filmed by a group of middle schoolers with an I Phone. Take the worst disney channel movie you can remember and give it a "sinister" vibe and a dollar store budget. I honestly feel sorry for the child actors whos careers are now ruined because of this monstrosity. Horror is definetly dying, and is more about hype and marketing these days, but this one has its own tier of badness. -3/10. Stay home and watch paint dry instead.
