Ban-Ling Wong

This is an either you love it or hate it film. I love it for its elegance, fun, some great dance routines and best of all- it’s not too over the top. Of course, it has its downside, such as cgi, more dance than theatre content. Overall it’s immensely entertaining. However I find Jennifer Hudson’s rendition of Memory rather underwhelming. It’s really isn’t a song for belting, hence the sensitivity is somewhat missing. I think it deserves a better rating than the reviews
