I was so tired of all the truly soul wrenching violence on television that I stopped watching anything but Rachel Maddow. My husband missed my company so he found “Away” for me. It’s smart and real and moral. It celebrates the humanity of multi races and cultures sharing a very small space and learning to work together for survival while understanding each other’s value and their backgrounds. Beautifully done for me, my husband likes more violence, but I really hope they don’t take that exit. Every show seems to fall into that when intelligent writers get bored..... please don’t.
