Annabelle Fossett

I think the plot was ok, but it was a horribly written book. The start was ridiculously slow and hard to be interested in. I don’t mean to be homophobic, but they were showing off the fact that they had a gay couple way too much. They spent too much time talking about what a miracle it was that will and Nico were together and not enough time of them actually being a couple, so the romantic scenes felt rushed and awkward. They also didn’t need to reference each other as “Nico’s boyfriend” or “wills boyfriend” every 5 sentences. It was nothing like how any other couple in the PJO series was written, and it wasn’t good. (Again, not trying to be homophobic. I would have said the same thing if Percy and Annabeth were written like this) Would not recommend at all if you’re a fan of solangelo or the other PJO books.
