Most of the bad reviews are white people who are mad about the “we are not like every stupid white family ” line but watch every horror/thriller film with a white family and you’ll see what she’s talking about, and the “wokeness” which I’m guessing is about the teenage girl talking about not being confined to gender norms and the “hateful” line about white people, maybe the lesbian doctor too. The movie itself was enjoyable imo, the character development for the father didn’t happen till the end, seemed a bit rushed. There were a few funny lines and scenes and a lil thrilling car chase scene. The plot twist was expected, they made it easy to deduce what happened. The plot was a bit predictable, but even so, I personally found it entertaining.
