As someone who loved the first film, this was appalling from start to finish.

Nearly… brilliant visuals, great world building and effective trope through line… the issue… as it so often is… was JDW… he just can’t generate the emotional performance required to carry what is a personal story under the blanket of massive global and philosophical conflict. A must watch for any sci-fi fan… but let down by its star.

Probably the best sitcom ever made. Yes, including friends et al. Schitts Creek is very very special.
