I found this tv series very engrossing with good storyline and characters. The supporting cast like Si ming, lian song, cheng yu,yan chiwu,ji heng played their roles really well.Dong Hua Dijun played by Vengo Gao and Bai Fengjiu by Dilraba Dilmurat were outstanding. They both have taken the pains to portray the depth of their characters through their acting skills.Besides the main leads I liked the character of demon lord Yan Chiwu. He never gives up on his childhood love Ji Heng and accepts her the way she is with all her flaws. The ending scene where Ji Heng realises her love for him did justice to his character. Finally he had a happy ending to his efforts. He is shown to be a good friend of Fengjiu inspite of being a demon.I liked the plot shown in the mortal realm with Song Xuaren. He is shown so full of emotions and dedicated to Fengjiu.I found Fengjiu to be a bit cold towards the 53rd-54th episode where she did not try to understand the sacrifices Dong hua made and the pain he was going through.I got a bit irritated in the 55th episode where she is shown crying about how selfish she acted and wasting time in the palace instead of rushing to save Dong Hua from dying.I found Ji Heng's character interesting .I read online about the actress being criticized for it.I am not sure why she was put through so much of hate.I found her performance amazing and hope she has a good career ahead.I was hoping the last scene where Bai gungun ,fengjiu and dong hua sail in a boat was not cut :( It was a sweet scene. I am eagerly waiting for the sequel of this series:)
