Absolute feminist masterpiece.

While watching it I described it as "a travesty of Austen's work". My husband tried to defend the movie, but was interrupted by Anne describing a dream where she was an octopus "sucking her own face". He didn't try anymore after that.

Good movie if you're looking for something heavy about untreated mental issues. As a horror, not so good.

It might be genius. I've no idea. I've lost the plot in the first five minutes of the movie, and spent the rest of the time asking "what???". For the entire thing, it's like the actors are just rolling with it, even without understanding what going on. Also, terrible sound mixing (honestly, it's complicated enough without missing any dialogues).
