Derek Giesbrecht

I found this album very pleasant to listen to, it offers a more mellow sound than those when van halen was fronted by david lee roth. I like both versions of van halen with both lead singers, and i do not see a need to pick one over the other. One thing the albums with roth did not produce is a number one single, which some may say came at the cost of neutering the van halen sound, but i feel it is merely another facet of their sound. Overall, the album offers much to like, featuring songs such as finish what ya started and when love comes around. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
