Badly researched, boring with bad characters. A key thing is that she sends postcards throughout the book. If you visit Ecuador you v quickly learn it doesn’t have any sort of postal service, details about the Christmas iguanas were incorrect too. The main character was a horrid entitled tit. Covid story boring and just showed she was a selfish twit. Covid plot v dull and disappointing. I loved two of her previous books but don’t think she researched or planned this properly.
