Such potential for something truly amazing to add to the Alien franchise...and they come up with this?! Boring, predictable, and just plain corny...this plays out like if someone mixed Alien Resurrection with UFC. Very disappointing.

One of the best animated shows ever made.

Boring, Yankee-Doodle rubbish. I cannot believe the same man who brought such sci-fi icons like Alien and Blade Runner to life directed this lazy, predictible, flag-humping pile of nationalistic nonsense. Cinematography is amazing and the visual effects are striking but the writing, direction and performances are bland and contrived. Disappointing when you see good actors and talented directors make bad films but The Martian is proof that you just can't win them all. Avoid this film and watch Alien instead.
