An interesting aesthetic exercise with good to great acting performances. Sound design, location, and costuming are very well done.
The story is where the 2 stars come from. It feels like it was created by someone who calls football "Sportsball" ironically. It doesn't do the sport or a critique justice at all. Someone coming from a football family (dad played pro, uncle played D1 and went undrafted into the NFL for a short term, I played D1 with 8+ first round draft picks) it's an utterly outsider viewpoint. Even some of the drills were utterly fabricated and used as aesthetic points to create a theme rather than an artful/thoughtful critique of the game, the psychology and mechanics of the game, its owners, and the players.
